Overview
This course provides training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to 55 msw that require staged decompression, utilising Nitrox or oxygen during decompression.
Course Objectives.
The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep diving to a maximum of 55 msw and utilising Nitrox mixtures or oxygen for staged decompression.
Diver Pre Requisites.
- 1. Minimum age of 18 years.
- 2. Minimum of 100 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30 msw, or equivalent at the dscretion of the instructor.
- 3. Certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalents.
Course Requirements.
- Classroom 8 hours.
- Open water dives 6 with a minimum of 100 mins of bottom time.
- All dives must be deeper than 30 msw with four deeper than 40 msw.
- Can credit 2 dives from previous training.
